Gli Zombie arrivano sul set di World War Z con un doppio Brad Pitt

Continuano ad arrivare immagini dal set maltese di World War Z, l’adattamento cinematografico dell’omonimo romanzo di Max Brooks (figlio di Mel Brooks) diretto da Marc Forster e prodotto dalla Plan B Entertainment di proprietà di Brad Pitt, che ne è anche protagonista!!!
Le immagini di oggi ci mostrano un curioso caso di sdoppiamento…

si tratta proprio di Brad Pitt in compagnia del suo stunt

Considerando che il budget impiegato sarà di circa 125 milioni di dollari, il film può essere etichettato un kolossal!!
Gli effetti speciali ne faranno da padrone ed ecco arrivare le immagini dei primi zombie




Ci sono anche degli strani omini verdi… che non sono altro che gli stunt con indosso le tute verdi utilizzate per gli effetti speciali!!!

900 extras in Brad Pitt film shooting today

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Finance Minister Tonio Fenech were among those present to see the hive of activity which is expected to leave €30m in Malta's coffers. Film-shooting has also taken place in Valletta and at the airport.

Pitt took a break from filming to chat with Dr Gonzi, telling him that he and his family were enjoying their visit in Malta. He was also grateful for the facilities provided for the film-shooting.
Dr Gonzi was shown around the film set by Robert Harris, who was also publicist of Gladiator and Troy.

The government in a statement said the film industry was turning out to be an important niche in the Maltese economy, not least because of available facilities, excellent weather and tax advantages.

Matthew Fox and Ed Harris Are Out of World War Z
Bad news for Paramount Pictures: Despite previous reports, Vulture hears that that neither Matthew Fox nor Ed Harris will be starring in the studio’s zombie-pocalypse thriller, World War Z. Fox has a scheduling conflict stemming from his prior commitment to star in I, Alex Cross with Tyler Perry at Summit Entertainment; less clear is why the Harris deal didn’t make. (Last week, word came that the four-time Oscar nominee would star in Beth Henley’s Pulitzer-winning play The Jacksonian, but that doesn’t start performances until next February at L.A.’s Geffen Playhouse.) The actors had smaller roles in the Brad Pitt flick, but with the movie already in production in Malta, the filmmakers are scrambling to recast, having actors read in both London and Los Angeles.
